ZIOANI
2019
It’s always a pleasure to serve those who dedicate their lives defending our nation. A Major from Indian Army unit “Madras Sappers”, approached us and wanted something vintage and reliable, “New Old School” as we call it, is our forte. The build is known as “Ziouani” and is inspired from a UN peacekeeping camp at Israel where the officer was stationed at. It is a tribute to relentless service rendered by Indian peacekeepers at United Nations for maintaining sanctity in the most distressed parts of the world. The build is based on a RE Classis 350 with a vintage girder set up sporting disc brake set up, vintage headlamp, clamp on meter in the front. Handcrafted sheet metal Front and rear girders and Fuel tank. The saddles are upholstered with maroon red leather same as that of the saddle bags attached to the build. The maroon in the build is in reverence of blood shed by proud “Thambis” of Madras sappers who as valiant combat engineers carved a niche for themselves at every battlefront of the world. One look at this old school beauty invokes nostalgia while it cuts through the wind like a spear.
